give them some time and make sure they are getting enough to eat. I was in the same boat a couple weeks ago, and now with the right amount of feed they are doing better....something you have to figure out for yourself, with YOUR family of birds, just keep after it, you'll figure it out man. Best of luck with em.

inyce, how old are this birds? At 7-9 weeks they should be able to fly 45min. to an hour with no problem. feed them well enough to fly that period of time, they should be able to fly 300 feet plus at this age. are you flying them with other birds that fly correctly? Good luck.

yes you might be expecting too much...happens to me all the time. feed them more since they're still young and make them feel safe at bay on top of the loft you want to make them stay there so dont scare them and try just letting them hang out on the top of the loft if they dont land there or cage them up there. take your time with these birds; better safe than sorry. they will improve their flying with time.-joe v.

Crate them up and take them to the other side of the house. make them elevate to see the loft. If the come right down take them 1/2 block away. Then a block away.
Continued flagging off the kit box will only make them into tree sitters. (Bad situation worse) Been there done that!!!

I would not be flagging them yet. give them a few more weeks. and plenty of good feed. A mix would be best. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

Jerry they 7 weeks old they still very young I don't expect anything from young ones until 81/2 going to 9 weeks..don't ruin them just be patient in two weeks you see a difference just feed them all they want and be persistence with your training everyday gradually adding more time to them slowly..goodluck.. ---------- Ralph.
