I just wanted to Thank BMC Brian McCormick for judging our region for the World Cup...he did a great job. We got a chance to hang a little before the airport drop off and it was great talking with him...Mookie and Rob hung around too just to talk with Brian...or it may be the Fact that I let Mookie pinch 4 birds off of my A-team...LOL..

Brent Timeus needs a Big Congrats for being our qualifier for our region.....With a score a little over 200....Bill Crider had a good score in the low 100's.....and well the rest of us...we screwed the pooch.....Scott C...well...his kit strapped on the space suits...and went for the moon...Ken Firl....liked the Right wing...I think he said Right wing.....Steve Bills has not had time with his birds due to work..but still squeezed out some points....Dwight Wallace..was working a real young bird team....but still had some breaks.....and me...well....I got a big ZERO...I had birds come down....I tried..but I was in the Philippines for a week last week and well....shit happens.....I only got to fly them for 2 days when I got back..and there was a dam red check w/F that was not kitting...and I have 5 birds in the kit with the same markings...and for the two days...I could not tell wich one it was...so .>>I gambled....and was hoping that rest and feed would help...WRONG>....that damn bird came down below the kit and brought a cock and hen down with him...But that is rollers baby!!!! The kit was still working...but the rules wont allow scoring when three are out...what a stupid rule...LOL>...LOL...Kidding.....

I was just pissed becuase I wanted Brian to see my birds and give me a little insight....or what he saw..but.....they sucked.....Now for the Fall Fly...

Again ...>Congrats...Brent...or is it Brett....whatever...I love him anyway;...and Brian..Thanks again...ROCK ON!!!

Thanks Paul, I had a good time as always. The Campbell's are always great hosts. I didn't hear much cursing so I must have done a decent job..lol. I enjoyed watching your kit even though they couldn't score. There were some real nice spinners in that kit that worked well together. You guys better watch out for that Bill Crider and of course it looks like Brent will become a guy to beat in that region. When he flys the Finals you guys should get over there to see them fly. If the quality of spin is what it was when I judged them, you will see what good, clean rollers are supposed to perform like.

Ditto's paul, We all thank Brian for coming over considering all he has been through. The nice thing in flying comps is you get some good judges who can give advice on your birds and the good judges always tell you something.
I wish I could have gone to lunch but my boys were scheduled to sign up for soccer at 1 pm to 3 pm. Got that done. It was a pleasure to meet Brian McCormick and we also had Don Ouellette and Ramsey Ajlouni visiting Scott and hung around for the rest of the day. Bill C

Job well done Brent Timeus! I'm sure you deserved it.

People often wonder why we are in such a desperate haste to succeed in the sport of flying "Performing Roller Pigeons".

Hmm... it's rather interesting when you take a moment to think about it.

Whenever the onlooker (or newbie) gets the opportunity to witness a good kit of performing rollers break in the air as a unified team... they will then surely know why we want to succeed in this magnificently marvelous international sport.

MEMO: In endowing us with pleasant memories, nature has revealed to us a truth utterly unimaginable in the air. I'm referring to the reflective creation of the Birmingham Roller spinning with high velocity.
