Hi, first of all, I would like to thank all of you who have givin me advice. Your advice has been great and has helped me a lot. Now I need more:) What, if anything should I put in the bath water of my Birmingham rollers? thanks again. Fred

Permectrin is a good and inexpensive product you can add to the water. Some have suggested epsom salts or even add a small amount of bleach. However, you don't have to add anything if you do not wish. The birds will still enjoy the bath time!

Tony's suggestions are all good. I prefer 20 Mule Team Borax. Really cleans them up nice and helps with parasites as well. I avoid bleach as the birds may drink it and it has an adverse effect on the gut bacteria they need to stay healthy.

I agree with Sunflower 20 Mule Team Borax leaves a slippery film on the feathers that you can feel on your hands and it definetly rids birds of lice and will not harm the birds if drank
