one of my pigeon was looking abit down today so i decided to have a look at it and notice a big lump on its rear end.wat cud this b and can it affect my otha birds in anyway

It sounds like canker. Canker will get around the navel or in the throat and mouth. you need to get canker meds like Spartrix Tablets 50pk can be bought through this site.JDA

Damp feed, cracked corn is the worst! Stress, to many birds in one area.
I had canker hit about 3 yrs ago and these were a couple problems I had to deal with. Keep things as dry as you can, don't put to many birds together in one place, and I found that using a couple tbsp of acv in a gallon of their water during the breeding season seemed to help.
I would quaranteen the sick and use spartix if it were me! Good luck!
