What size of roller will spin tight?Small I was told has better balanceto form a ball.What do you guys think?

I don't like 'em real large and real small has its problems too. I am looking for a medium sized bird a little on the smallish side. That tends to give me the best performance. The smallness gives me the higher velocity roll with the size and strength gives me the desired depth...........I guess(LOL)

It does not matter one dumb diddly dumb dumb do....I have seen small, cobby, big, small, no tail, long tail, long cast etc...and they have all rolled good...hell...Nick will tell you about the Super Chicken....this bird was the size of a crow...but balled up like a rocket...

Gimme a loft of med. sized birds , I have yet to see a family of large birds worth having, I don't like too small either though,Paul makes mention of cobby, most cobby birds have poor style but do well in shows.

hi all
paul like i said good rollers come in all sizes ive seen them.scott my 45 cock is a cobby bird i would not say he was the best roller in the uk though he was ok.but without a doubt he has been the best producer here in the last 15 years.still got him but he/s going blind poor bstd.
