Has anyone experienced a condition in squabs that resemble mumps in their birds, I have one that has hard bumps just under the skin in the throat area just under it's head on both sides of is neck. The bumps are large enough, they stick out and make the bird look like it has the mumps. The bird is eating and drinking so the hard spots are not inside the throat. They are just under the skin and look like white corn kernels that don't move when skin is pulled tight. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to treat it? Lew

+That's what I thought at first also, there is no yellow cheese in the mouth and the bird is up and alert like there is nothing wrong, just shows these large mump bumps, it's nest mate been with it all along and is fine. Lew

It also could be pigeon pox. Get yourself some sulphur power from a feed store, drug stores have cared it also.Mix it in there feeders. Canker get Spartrix Tablets 50pk and give one to each bird. JDA
