Hey All, I've thought about this post for some time, started it several times and then deleted it without posting. So..... I'm speaking for me and me only. Where I live there are few roller men and when I decided that I could afford both monetarily and the time to keep rollers again, I started looking. Not being familiar with anyone close, I looked online. Hey, it's the age of the putter! After an exhausting search I stumbled on R.P.D.C. quite by accident. I lurked and studied the posts, and Tony's response's, comments by the list at large and all the while still looking for a source to purchase birds. The longer I looked the more convinced I became that I had already found my source. Understand, I'm retired, on a fixed income and any investment is large. Also understand with the birds, I purchased long hours of planning, dreams of providing for a family, and making a living with what most call a hobby, countless hours of work. Breeding that would have taken me years to approximate, if I had the source stock available. I've made no secret I'm a Tony and Joni Fan! If there was a club, I would be president! BUT, there is a reason. I'm old school, you want my respect, earn it! Loyalty, treat me fair, I'm not asking for anything special just don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining. No excuses, make it right or don't make it at all! Now, that's what I expect, but that's not what I got. Who makes personal calls, who in this day and age offers service beyond the initial purchase. Even the great Wally-World waits for you to complain, never do they call to see if your happy, or to advise you on the best way to take care of your purchased pet. Not to mention this great resource of almost unlimited information and unbound opinion. Say it with respect and almost no topic is off limits. This site is as free and unmolested as they come. Here my thoughts carry as much weight as the charter members. I am free to say, with respect, my feelings, thoughts and opinions. This is all provided free of charge!
Tony, Joni, I thank you both, it's a treat!
One last thought, the birds spin so hard their tail fathers are ragged. Thom

jerry t, Ralph, Jerry, I would rather feed one pair of Ruby's then twenty pair..... But, I also understand the need must surpass the desire. Ralph, I like Tony, I love Joni! ;-)) Class, nothing but class from both! Thom
