Victor rest them for 2 days and feed them all they want 9 tablespoon is not enough or the 18 with flying twice a day .then fly them once a day and see what happens them you go back to 2 times a day but feed in the morning a hand full so like a tease and treat for coming in now at evening fly them them when they come in feed 12 table spoon if trapping in on time give 15 and see what happens ..but these baby need more protien I give mine 16% .so just feed more .sometimes if you feed them well like twice a day they want to come down for feed fast especially they didn't get the amount their body needs.so feed them well at night their last fly...those 3 month old feed all they want in there last meal.. let me know how it goes ,good luck.. ---------- Ralph.

Victor, 12-birds, I will give them about a 3/4 of a cup of either 12% to 14%. I dont think you really need 16% . The birds are not going thru a molt were they will need more protein.
Keep in mind, these are some small athletes, and they do need to rest. ( I )would rest them for at least 3-days and then fly them 2-days straight & rest 1-day and fly them 2-days straight & rest 1 day again and see if this is helping.
But a-tablespoons per bird ? First you need to get the birds to kit & then wait for them to come in the roll and then wait till the kit begins to work like a team before you can start to cut them back to see what your team can really do in the air.
You just have to pay attention to your birds. Soon enough, some of these birds will begin to roll or spin while others are not. And some of the ones that are working harder may need to be fed a bit more.

They are young birds, like young kids. If you give them candy = 14%MIX or higher. They will get a sugar rush, period... They will fly strong and fast for a short period of time. Since they are young they most likely won't kit either! Not to mention they will fly low, cause they are burning lot's of energy too fast. If you would like to know what I would do just ask.
