It seems that the family of rollers that I have are bad parrents. They don't fed the young as they should, and the young don't develope as they should. This year I got a pair of ruby rollers and Iam telling you they are smarter birds and the best parrents.

I had this problem at the start of breeding. Everything that hatched out died. I splitt the pairs. Swapt a few around and put them back together in march. Since then i have lost one young in the nest. My problem was the cold . I also moved my boxes out of the wind. good look mate. yours in roll harrison uk hull.

I remember when I was a kid 40 years ago I had rollers and I could use them as feeders for my fantails and pigmy pouters, and short faced tumblers.Today I think I need feeders for my rollers.Maybe it is to much line breeding?? Like bigwilly said "Hmm"
