If you had that much value on the bird I hope you did not lose it flying it or to a hawk.

Did it escape from a breeding loft? It was only an 2008 bird So I am thinking it was a super star kit bird? I wish you good luck on getting it back, hope it works out. BIll

I've had seaguls also screw up a my training. I live 100 miles from the Pacific Ocean but I think they like the dumpsites in the big cities also.

Buzzards and Vultures are also scaring the birds, they roost in big trees along the rivers and wait for a high pressure to form and then they will go up with it and and soar and travel. They see the rollers flying up and think they are in a high pressure with lift and here they come from time to time. It is amazing how they know the atmostphere and depend on it to take them to eat dead animals. You will see them flying in a straigh line like 10 of them and once they are near the rollers they will all start circling as if they will also get a lift. Are you in the LA area? Bill
