Great opportunity for you and your friends to meet a living legend. Life is short- we all should try to meet the living legends as their time or ours can come any day. Congratulations on your experience with Norm.

Fresnobird- what do you mean? Norm Reed is obsolete?? with what he has tough people in this hobby with his knowledge of the roller pigeon and the way he has advanced the breed in every state of the union and abroad, how the hell can you say obsolete?????? JDA

That is an awesome experience. Look at those trophies and awards! He looks like a nice, humble man and you look like Jet Li. Hey, how does his birds handle in the hand?

Rod, Norm handed me every breeder in his lofts, he says's to me this is how a "Champion roller feels like" my assesment was, each one had no struggle, content, the eyes very intelligent look,he explained to me about feather quality, the spoon tail shape he likes, then showed & explained to me about the keel & vents , structure the overall proportion and performance. this takes years to learn.. I can go on and on...Whew.. Tony has a video cd of Norm I would highly recommend it to have.
Thanks ---------- Ak~

Anyone have any idea how I would get ahold of some of Norm's birds? I would be interested in buying a few cocks and hens from him for my program.
Thanks, Matt

AK-Roller,i had the pleasure of meeting Norm at his club show, and all i could do was try and get all the info i could from him,it was quite an experience talking to him,at the same time it was like reading one of his books that you just can't put down,i hope to see him again soon,if anyone ever gets the chance to meet Norm i hope you listen to every thing he says it is something you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Norm is a cool cat for sure. I spent a few hours in his back yard and could not believe all the good looking birds he had back there.
Thanks for sharing. ---------- Sal Ortiz
