Sounds like a potential stock bird to me. Eyes don't have anything ro do with the roll. I am not fond of bull eyes but having said that I have an odd eyed badge hen in my stock pen because her performance dictated that I ignore her eyes. Put her on a self headed bird and she has produced nice orange eyed youngsters.

If your bird has two eyes on the same side of it's head..........you might be inbreeding too closely! LOL

As long as it spins nice the eye color or bulled eyes doesnt' matter. But I know several top roller guys that as they developed their family do have a preference for eye color as they understand what traits orange eye, pearl eye, etc. usually carry in their family. But this is years into working with a family of rollers so for now I would just stock your best spinners and breed them together to see if they produce like spin. Then down the road maybe you will recognize or develop a preference for certain traits in eye color in your family you developed. Enjoy the learning process! Thanks, Don M. Mac's Rollers LVRC

Eyes are an indicater of health levels. Many use them as an indicater of intellegence and character as well

Rookie, be careful to "imply cause" where there is no "effect". There are some who, when they start with rollers, want to find the "holy grail", the hidden secret that once found will burst forth with revelation...and will henceforth be considered a roller "gawd" with all the deserving admiration of our fellow fanciers. LOL

The way it works is like this..."ooooh, my best hen has a pearl and bull-eye, my best hens should all have 1 pearl eye and 1 bull-eye".

Some take it a step further and would say, "...within the pigeon hobby, the best hens should have 1 pearl eye and 1 bull-eye".

I suppose it is that way with tail-flex...LOL

The best and fastest spinner's all have, without a doubt in every case, I've never seen any top rollerman say anything different, they all agree. One right and one left eye is very important.

This is a good one, I have all eye colour's eyes in my loft. one side of my family has mostly bulleyes, however the best ones have a crecent eye and sometimes they are odd. Ive found that they use their eyes to see and their heart to roll properly,LOL good luck Rook hope you find all you need reguardless of eye colour.....1
