Hey all,
Ok...so far...the first day will be a meet and greet on Thursday evening outside the Crocodile lounge....Friday and Saturday morning the buses are leaving at 7am sharp...we will load up at 645......so be there about 630......
When you check into your room you will get an itinerary the times for everything..who is flying and the addresses....
The auction will be on Friday night at the banquet held at the hotel....cocktails at 6pm...dinner at 7pm auction and awards should start at 8pm......
On Saturday...the buses will go straight from the fly to Discovery park for the BBQ....we will not go back to the hotel until after the BBQ......
Friday will be the Sac area fliers....and Saturday will be the stockton area....
We have three buses...and dont forget that there is a 10.00 fee each day for the buses to offset the price of the buses....we got some real nice buses with DVD players...etc.
Looking forward to meeting everybody!!

Thanks for the update Paul. Paul is there any way u can post up the itinerary up here so guys like me who live in sac tat wont be stayin at the hotel have a copy of who flying, the addresses, and etc

I suppose that the bus drivers know how to manuver in tight places with a bus? But it might be good to let them know that at Chuck Roe's, Ken Firls, and your place Paul that they have culdasacs. They might want to park at the nearest cross street for easier exiting? Maybe if there are not cars along the street they could turn around? This might be something to ask them in advance just to make sure they can get out of that kind of street.
I guess they could always back up until they could get going again.
If I dont get a babysitter I might drive myself with my boys in the car. Bill C

Yang, you meet at the cocodile lounge at the Raddison hotel in Sacto. Load up at 6:45 AM, so be there by 6:30 AM. I am sure you will see the buses in the area. Read the above post by Paul. BIll

No Cliff, something about the taxi unions (blood suckers) I think that we have a kid that is going to shuttle, what time do you get in ?

Guys
you CAN park your car at the hotel...just like every hotel in the U.S....LOL...not to many dont allow paking...Second...on Thurdsay we will have a college kid picking up people at the hotel...starting at 730am...that is when we pick up the car.....TIP the kid...he is working for free as a favor......so any money he makes will be tips.....
Scott is right..the hotels are NOT allowed to provide a shuttle service because of the Taxi union....but on Sunday...you may have to take a taxi...we still have no driver for a rental car...being fathers day kind of blew it out of the water....
Just remember...this is a convention.....it is not difference then checking into any hotel..except you get a free breakfast and a reduced room rate....
The next thing is the buses...they will be in the front of the Hotel...and they will leave at 7am....no loaded at 7am...leaving....at 7am...

Scott,
I'll be arriving at 3:38 in the afternoon and meeting up with Jay Alnimer from Cleveland, Ohio to head to the hotel. How do we get in contact with the kid to pick us up when we arrive at the airport? You guys need any help with anything setting up?

Cliff....look at you bulletin.d..you have to call my cell number when you arrive at the airport and then I will text the kid to come and pick you up.

Man, you guys are lucky! I'd give my left arm to be there. Just not in the cards this year. Thanks to our great economy, I'm the sole provider for a family of 4, soon to be 5!
If anyone could cop an extra large t-shirt, I would be glad to cover the cost and shipping!
