----------Was riding my M.C. this weekend and noticed a group of pigeons on a barn! I stopped and looked because of the variety of colors, well I could get within 10 ft of them and whistled, a couple looked over and started to walk my way, I lost around 8 birds 2 years ago and some of them were banded, some looked like my lost ones,is it possible that rollers could assimalate themselves into a wild flock of pigeons??????????????????????????????? Some do, most just die. I have a roller come in and fly with my birds every now and then. He flys then heads out for town. A 10 to 15 footer, not bad style. Thom

Yea a roller will do just fine in the wild. When I was a kid I would keep some kite string in my handlebard just incase I ran across a rouge roller with the commies. Some times I would catch more than the roller I wanted but it was fun. But then I also rember a person now and agian saying what the hell are you doing catching pigeons,,, Putum back... LOL I woud just jump back on the bike and head back to my neibhorhood...Just know that there are alot of good rollers livin in the wild....

I was just west of Abilene Texas on I20 and saw a group of pigeons circle an overpass, just as they made a turn three pigeons made great rolls of about 15 feet. The rest of the group was just commies. :)
