sunday i flew in my first fly {20 bird} it was a great exprience for me but i have no idea on how i was being scored i thought it was based on each individual bird but i found that not to be true , what would be a ideal score for a nice kit of birds? jerry t

Jerry When you get here, we can talk about the differences in the fly rules of the two fly's offered by the NBRC. Basically, they offer the 20-bird fly and the 11 bird fly. In the 11-bird fly, a single spin may be scored. The 11-bird fly was adopted a few years after the 20-bird fly was up and running, so the 11-bird fly is playing catch up. Both are games we play with Rollers, some like one over the other. Some regions offer just the 20, some regions offer just the 11 and some regions offer both. A lot depends on what area of the USA you live in. I like them both. Cliff
