hi all, been reading this site for about a year, decided to take the big leap and log on. i'm from south africa,capetown. been into rollers for 12 years. very few roller people in this side of the world.hopefully we can get more people into rollers in cape town and get things going.

hey there morne Rix,im a back yard flyer,im still very much a rookie when it comes to rollers,but this site helps me alot,if im not mistaken you live in the phillipi area?,which is kinda close 2 me,i live in lansdowne,yeah you right there are very few roller guys in cape town,i was intrested in purchasing some very good rollers so that i can take the hobbie to the next level,but all the great w\c guys who offerd to help me out lives in jozi,so now i have to save some money so that i can purchase.

Welcome Morne. I met my first South African when Hannes was here judging my kit for the World Cup. Had a good time with him. If you are in the same predator free environment as Hannes then you will be able to have much more consistent fun flying rollers. Alot of roller flyers in South Africa so you should get good support close to home- though Hannes indicates they are quite spread out across the country. Don M. Las Vegas Roller Club

shukz you are right i am in the philippi area so we stay close to each other. you have my mail so drop me a call and we can get together.
macsrollers, hannes is right about flyers quite spread out, the rest of the south africans taking part in the w/c are about 1000km from me, about a 10 to 12 hour drive.
