I fly in Rialto and have been getting killed for the last 2weeks. I just wanted to get a better idea of how bad the problem is? Also if you know how many miles a falcon covers? Thanks Juan.

I fly my birds out of Compton and I was reading last night you guys are getting hit by falcons. Then I got hit today by the falcon lost one of my young birds. the red tail swoops down on the birds often but just spooks them he got two real young birds about two months ago but thats about it. Not enough fly time to see the full potential of your birds but Ill keep flying hopefully till september. Art Gaona

I couldn't tolorate what a few of you do, it would be absolutly impossible flying a good team of birds. I would be looking at racing or Fantails or something along that line,or move. ---------- Just my Opinion Scott

Falcon just paid my kit a visit, chased them for about five minutes, made a few passes and missed everytime! Is it just me or does it seem like they always chase after your favorite bird. So far this year Falcon 0 Kit 1! Hopefully he was just passing threw. Tomorrow is a new day.............the bastard!

That's cool Ruelas Lofts.... "start strong maintain strength finish stronger".
There is a good book I would recommend called;
====> The Raptor Almanac: A Comprehensive Guide to Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, and Vultures
It's a great book about birds of prey by: Scott Weidensaul ....well anyway
The BOP most prevelant in my Northern California region are Cooper's Hawks and Sharp Shinned Hawks.
