I have a young pigeon about 2 weeks old. One of its foot is very weak where it can't even really stand on it. Any idea or suggestions? Will it slowly build strength or is this bird done for?

Show a pic. Shiv but two weeks is pretty young. Depends how bad it is, I guess only one way to find out, wait it out and see.

I have that all the time...some squeeks will have one weaker leg..which they can't support themselves..usually I cage it and feed it until it could walk or if unable to walk ....then gota do what you have to do..

if you use the wrong bedding, the squabie,s leg will grow sidways to acomadate for the birds weight to keep him from falling to the side, make sure the nest has bedding that is firm and not easily shifted,it is correctable but havnt been succesful when ive tryed..
