I pulled some babys at 26 days old,the parents were starting to peck at them will they eat on their own? i dipped their beaks in the water and one drank water like it was real thirty ,does this mean the parents were not feeding them any more??

Go ahead and seperate them. Keep a close eye to make sure that they are drinking water. U may have to dip there head in the water a couple of times. Dont worry they will be ok BIG WILLY TOPP FLIGHT/NCRC

cv rollers... this means that the bird knows where to drink from... Just make sure they know where the feed is. I usually put a hen in with new birds like that to show them where the feed is...

Did the parents have another set of eggs they were siting on when they started pecking the squeekers? This might be a contributing factor to their behavior. ---------- DJJeffman Spinners

Usually by the time the second round is laid, the first rounders are ready to be taken away from their parents.
