Hi guys. been a while since I have been on and I have bread some new birds since. My first round are over 3 month old now and are flyin as a kit. They are doing flips and some the odd little spin so its all forward from now. I had one bird a grizz oddside but all it would do is short spins constantly. It couldnt keep up with the kit and was no way a team player. So I off loaded it to a guy near me. I told him why I gave him it but he was over the moon. I am putting some pictures up and these birds whent in the sky yesterday for the first time. Only for a couple of mins. One landed on the chimney and has got stook down it. I need to get some wire balls asap. hope everyone is doing ok and there birds also. I have had a couple of visits from the prey. They put a hole in a blue self checks kneck and it died. I am getting abit worried about letting sertain bird out bcause I no they will come good for me and am scared of losing them to the hawk. But whats a team without its main players. well guys post soon. take care harrison uk hull.
the once above are round two
the once above are round one.
I still have 6 young on the breeders floor that I will wean next week and thats it for me. Cheers guys. yours in roll harrison

Since using broom handles across my wire floors the birds have been in top shape. note the sh*t goes straight from were they are sat and under the wire so there is no way of any birds coming int contact with it. I like the idea and it suits me great. somone said rais the back pole 5 inch and that will be better. I tried it and that day one of my birds had shi* all over its tail. cheers harry

Hey Harrison, Nice looking bunch. I had one go down my chimney straight into the fire place, he was all black and sooty but otherwise O.K. Over here we use caps on the chimneys but mine had been blown away in a storm. Thom

Hi THOM. m My fire places have been brickd over and the house has central heating so there is no way of recovering the poor sod. Phoned a handy man today and he said if i get the wire balls he will go up and fit them. I have got sky tv on and was watching Animal Cops Houston in america?? I watch them every night and some sad sod had 40 dogs taken from his property for cruelty. I never new america vwas as big as it is untill i started watching that. Man I carnt believe how many animals get recoverd for poor treatment. One guy had 22 pit bulls all chaind up in his yard and was running a fighting scam. the dogs were just left with open wounds rotting. still aint seen no rollers yet. and hope i dont. good to here from youm THOM. yours in roll harry.

Harrison, Some people should not have any animal, but it's a world problem. We just air our dirty laundry in public. Take my dog, he is treated horribly, brushed every night, more toys then your average toddler. My yard looks like the Air Force's Bombing Range and my bone bill is almost equal to the national debt! BUT, he earns his kibbles and bits by gaurding my birds! :) Cheers Mate! Thom

My wife said isnt it bad in america for cruelity to animals and I said love were we live will be the same its just we dont see it . The only reason people think its bad in america is bcause of all the programs there running about it on sky tv. If they started doing them on the uk it would be as bad. I carnt have a dog due to farthering a 10 month old boy. I have tried bcause I believe its the only way to keep the scum bags away from the birds and also the house. maybe when he gets abit older. I only want some kind of little terrier. anyways THOM gonna cut off now. you be cool. yours harry. UK HULL.

Hey Old Fart - Just have to say that I hear ya...our "rescued" dog (a 5 year old yellow lab mix female from the local Humane Society) has been spoiled rotten while I'm at work. She has too many toys, eats too many treats, gets petted, brushed and her belly scratched and relaxes on the furniture way too much. And when I get home from work she wants more. She loves it and we love her.

az-je, A dog is a wonderful animal. Mistreated it will still love you. Pay the least bit of attention and it's all giggles and wiggles. Threatened by anyone, it will give it's life to protect yours. Mine is big, hairy, and slobbers everywhere! But I don't worry! Sam is on the job, 24X7 never off duty! He is my kind of guy!

You have some very interesting looking birds there Harrison. I notice lots of soft colors in the kit box. That checkered badge with the white flights & white tail feathers in the fifth photo looks to be of the proper type for good rolling.
...well anyway
Wishing you lots of luck flying them!
QUESTION: Is that grizz oddside from "Black Country" stock?
