I'm glad you appreciate it Big Willy!
Let us not forget that greater understanding of things increases the capacity for tolerance.... and the acquiring of wisdom is the supreme part of happiness. Hmm...
I will say this to you my friend: Have the courage to be wise and always remember that kindness is more important than wisdom, for the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom.
MEMO: Wisdom begins with wonder.

Thanks Marcus for sharing some history. I too am intrigued by the origin of rollers and the men that brought them to this point. I appreciate you sharing a piece of that with us! Don M. Mac's Rollers

Good morning Donnie James & MacsRollers... Over the centuries there has been a lot of intellectually scientific genius & genetic engineering that went into the genetic mutation of the tumbler into the roller... and then the process of rollers into the high velocity spinners many of us are fortunate to see today. The above passage gives us insight into how the true Birmingham Roller arrived in the states and other miscellaneous details.
....well anyway
It's around 2:30 a.m. (PST) and I just came from out back in the barn with the birds. I'm currently in the process of biogenetically engineering what I feel can be better spinners (aerial performers) than previous generations. I have been involved with Birmingham Rollers for more than 30 years now and learned quite a bit visiting other roller guys & gals lofts
On that note... I will leave you with this quote from Mr. Hans Roettenbacher.
Hans: "You can learn more from just being alone with your birds than you can by by bull*hitting with other roller fanciers".
Take care....
