Have you noticed the contributors most respected on the forum never shout or scream and they hardly every use profanity, but when they do it is in jest.
Have you noticed they are the first to respond when anyone is in trouble, has a question or just needs help.
Have you noticed that even when combatants in a heated discussion yell and scream on one thread, they stop to offer help or advice on another,and sometimes, to each other!
Have you noticed we are family and when threatened band together to face the common enemy.
Have you noticed the site loyalty!
Have you noticed the wind of change? Tony has asked for and received help from member-moderators. No one can be available 100% of the time. I suggest we self moderate. When a post starts to go wrong, simply do not respond! Give the moderators time to discover and fix potential problems.
Have you noticed this site is free and when treated with respect, is uncensored.

Hey Guys, This is my daily fix. I come here to talk to my friends about birds. For a few minutes I can escape from the worries of war,finance, and what's that other one? Oh yeah, POLITICS! If I need help it's just a keyboard away or I might be able to help someone else. Surly we can have differences of opinion without degrading ourselves. If we have a B.O.P. after our birds we lock down and refuse to feed them, eventually they go away. I know for some the sky sharks never go away but there is just not that many here. We can be a large part of safe guarding our home away from home. This is just to important for all of us to allow them to win.

Thom....your absolutely right about the tone of this forun as of lately. I whole hearted agree with you. It's nice to belong to a place where you have "so many" that have your back at any cost... What a feeling it gives a body....

Thom, maybe you don't know it, but you have given me more pause than anything to think about where this site needs to go and to the kind of visitors and friends it needs to be dedicated. The support, loyalty and encouragement from its many Internet friends ensures a very positive outcome now and in the future!

I'm just an old toothless dog barking at the burglar. Can't bite, but I'll slobber all over them! Tony,it's worth the fight and can only be harmed if we allow it. I'm not ready to quit and neither are you!

Hey Val, I lost my malamute to cancer but we have a new puppy! :) Eight months old, seventy nine and three quarters of a pound, puppy! He is bigger then most full grown dogs! When my wife takes him for a walk, he is all big dog, with a big dog bark and growl. It's not always the bite, but the warning! And, the slobbers! :)
