I need some advice if any,
This is my second young bird that has gotten sick, 3 weeks ago i treated the whole flock with 4 in 1, just cause i thought i should halfway through my breeding season, Last week i noticed a youngster sick pull him from the kit box, noticed some canker, Gave him some spartrix, didnt help so i retired him, So then i treated the whole flock for canker, used Medpet Cankerex Plus, and now theres another youngster not looking so good.
The first youngster was releasing Very dark green close to black droppings and now this guy is getting close to the same color, semi runny dark green poo, hes eating as of today.
TIA

Ralph,
Thanks for the input,
They were given ACV between both treatments and followed up with ACV everyday after that.

I need to invent a poo tester LOL

with canker sterilize the drinking bowls ,separate the ill , DO NOT GIVE GRIT(oyster shels)or cracked corn, treat with MEDIZOLE,i treat them oraly, but make sure their throat is clear so they can eat, they can stop eating from the irritaion,so get yourself a syringe to feed them yourself if severe case,i also have some self locking surgical clips that can cut and hold canker growth in one move, ive had a case where it did get out of hand and i did have to cull about 4 birds so i wouldnt get over whelmed, damn canker

I think you responded to a suggestion to use probiotics and then you said you use ACV. ACV is not an antibiotic. The first thing that I would do is treat for a severe gut infection (enteritis). I would use Neomycin to stop the infection in the gut. After that, then I would flood the birds with probiotics for a week. Then perhaps I would go with the ACV 3 times a week and also give them probiotics a couple times a week as a maintenance. This is what I would do.
