2 months ago i had a pair become paralyzed for a couple of days their droppings was limey green.Today i had a different bird paralyzed for a couple of minutes.Has anyone had these symptoms?I've treated the whole flock with sulfa, beginning of this year, then i used Amoxicillin when i seen the symptoms 2 months ago.Since i was noticing lime droppings still present, and had weak babies from certain pairs,i used 4-1 medicine for 21 days which should treat all 4 diseases ,i just finished last week.I'd really hate to give up the ones that seem to be giving me issues but i just might if i can't fix'em.Does any one have a clue on what this is and what's the best treatment??

I forgot which one but one of the big pigeon supply houses offers dropping analysis. I'd have some fresh stool samples done on the problem birds. Tracey

Sat...this happened to me a few month ago...I found out they need antibiotic...I also give them grit...
The reason is, mouse urinal and dropping on feed grain or what ever you're feeding them...It makes them weak and can't barely stand up or fly...Don't try to toss them up, I learn it the hard way...lol...Hope it helps...
If its not helping then I suggest you try the poop test. ---------- Home of the Admiration Of Flying Performing Pigeon...

Get rid of rodents. If you are sure don't have them then buy your feed from another sourse and get rid of the feed you currently have. It is most likely contaminated.

As far as rodents i don't have in my lofts as there isn't big enough whole for mice to get in.I also don't leave no feed overnight.I do notice some babies don't grow fully, and a few will puff up and their dropping gets stuck on their anus.I've thought about sending a sample to foy,but i've heard from someone they can confuse it with something else.
