My kitbox is almost finished and I want to move my flyers out of the loft to the kitbox. The Kitbox is going to be right next to the loft.
How do I go about making the transition and what are the steps/procedures to get the birds to trap into their new home?

Hay Game your new kit box have a fly pen and a trap you will have to teach them to trap first putting every bird through several times put them on the roof in a small pen and let them in for food my what ever, whisle, cow bell, shake feed or whatever they will have to get use to it you might have to net a few until they catch on but they will. Good advise from above just remember the feed is the control to these birds..you can have them land on your loft but hungry enough and sit on a chair with a table or feed board on your lap and call them to you they will come move a little away and put it in your new kitbox with doors wide open and they will charge in to eat if hungry enough..they know you they know the area and its right in the same spot ..piece of cake..give them a couple of days to a week.. ---------- Ralph.
