Here are some photos from the first day of our young bird fly. Had fun hanging with the guys....Everybody flew some nice birds with potential...Ken, Dwight, Mookie, Larry and Big WIlly flew today...and Myself, Joe Urbon, Don Siggins and Don Penny fly tomorrow....Had a blast!!

Hi guys, do you have a top one or two flyers for the weekend? I was in Bodega Bay all weekend and just returned today. Sorry I was having a cold Corona while you guys were in 100+ degrees! Dwight was kind enough to feed and water the birds so I stayed an extra day. Would have liked to see all the young birds fly. How did it turn out with Sundays flyers included?
Willy, if you want to you could write up an article for the bulletin for the fly. Bill C

We had a great time ...Its good to get out meet people in the hobby , and just chill, watch birds fly and listen and learn new things . Special thanks to Big Willy for setting this up !!

My friend has a KAWI ZX 9R NINJA correct me if I have got it wrong but I am sure thats what it is.
Havent seen him for a while as dont ride no more

I ride a 07 Kawaski Ninja ZX-10R....my buddy jeff in the photo..with the Air Force issued Traffic control vest..LOL rides a Suzuki GSX-R 1000. I have a buddy that rides an R1....to be honest they are all about equal...unless you are a track guy you will never push the bike to the limit to see the flaws...My other buddy is a retired Pro Rider and he rides a GSXR 1000 05 I think..and he rode my Kawasaki and loved it...but of course he pushes them to the limit.
Basically it all boils down to the body style you like and each bike is a little different in sitting position.
The Kawasaki has the handle bars a little lower and the tank is flat on top...more comfort in the tucked position...it also comes with lap timers on the handle bars and an Ohlins steering stabilizer stock...and the motor is a FIRE BREATHER!!
I race motocross (ATV), and been on bikes most of my life....and basically the shop I bought my bike from are old race buddies and they said to be honest...the everyday rider....should pick out the bike for the best price and the body style they like...Kind of like buying a Dodge Ford or Chevy diesel pick up...they are all pretty close just pick what you like for the best deal.
