Ron,

They will be doing alot better when I get to train a bit more...havent trained or run dogs in over two weeks trying to help my friend get this built. But it benefits me because I train on his property.

Got two really nice shooting dog/all-age prospect derbys that I bred that will be running this fall and all next spring. They spent the last 6 months out on in KS training under a pro. Meanwhile I was campaigning a litter mate sister this past spring because the owner is in NY and has no clue what hes got. Most natural dog i've ever seen, incredible ground speed and a bird finding machine!!Ran her in 5 weekends of trials this past spring and and took 10 firsts, 4 seconds and a 4th. She's currently ranked #3 in the country on the Top ten puppy/derby list for the breed. Like her brother and sister will still be running this fall and next spring. All three are Futurity nominated and we have 3 championship derby's to run in and 2 national derbies to run in. I might head down to TN in Jan/Feb and run in a few Amateur Shooting Dog Derbies against American Field pointers...just depends on how they are preforming at the time. And since I'm not a Pro...how much cash I've got on hand to play with ;)

Here's some pics:

Reco - Vanguard's Quantum Matrix (large shooting dog, Future stud dog)

Rei - Vanguard's Neon Genesis (All age prospect)

Josie - Tiszabec's Josie of Vanguard, JH (All age Prospect) Owned by Paul Primeaux, NY. Pictured with Paul

Thanks,

Nice dogs. With respect to the new loft, I think you need more vents.

8" Temp/Humidity controlled fan gets installed tomorrow and while you cant see them there are vents along the back side of the loft.

What I do need to add is more perch space.

Outlaw,
Those are some beautiful looking dogs. I never got to hunt behind a Vizsla but a buddy of mine had a retired female that was very birdy and always a pleasure to be around. Good Luck with them dogs!

Outlaw....One suggestion.. On the inside of the trapps, you got a little landing board. I would remove that, this way when a bird comes thru the trapps they go down directely to the floor. With the landing board their another bird could escape while a bird is trapping. Just a suggestion....Have fun..
