Hey Tony,
Are you still selling Medicians, I did not see any products for sale on your site. I have a few young birds going light on me, dropped wings, no energy and displaying green droppings. Does this sound like Coccidia ? What to treat with? All birds have clean food, water, loft, and get to bath once a week.
Thanks for any advice you can give....Dale

Use 4 in 1 meds. Call Jedd's or Foy's.

Thanks J Star, I'll give them a call tomorrow after I steal the credit card from my wifes purse.. Have you ever had birds do this, and if you did, what was the problem?...Dale

don't rule out canker. i just lost a young bird to canker, and i'm just waiting to treat the remainder for it. it goes after young, weaker birds, so the others are holding up good, but i don't want to risk any other losses.

Canker is obvious and you can inspect the inside of the mouth and notice the cheezy stuff. However, I suspect the cause is either Cocci or Salmonella. 4 in 1 should take care of the problem for you. Please practice on medicating the birds a month before the breeding season so you could have a season worry free and enjoy the breeding experiance.

Dale... You can get meds from either Judd,s pigeon supply of foy,s pigeon supply. Look either one up and you can order online or give them a call they will send you catalog. You should always have meds on hand 4n1 or 5n1 canker meds, wormer meds, clorx bleach and lice power. JDA

I have a few birds doing the same thing, so I called Foys and they said it sounded like salmonella and they are sending me some meds for that. He said it is common in birds. My breeders have it and they don't feed the young properly. I have had a bad year raising young.

Hey Guy's, I ordered 4 in 1 from Foy's, powder and pill form. The Med's came in Thursday and I started the treatment that day. Already see'ing improvement in the birds, still light but feeling better, always a good sign when they want to take a bath. I'll treat for the recommended 7 days and see how it goes. Thank you all for the advice !!!Dale
