The Oklahoma Performing Roller Association is having thier
meeting and BBQ this Saturday 8/15/09. It is an all day open affair and is being conducted in Tupelo, OK. Real important people will be there besides myself(LOL). Good eating, good people, and watch some good kits perform. Lieing is permitted and encouraged(LOL).
Come on, be there.

Mark, Steve, and myself will be there from this area! I will take a day off work to support my club! LOL
It will be a large time as usual! I've heard of people from 3 surrounding states coming! Outstanding!!!

Had a great time at the club meeting yesterday! I would guess there were 30 people or so! Eldon Cheeney(Missouri), Don Sutton and his friend(Texas), Nick Siders(Arkansas), Sal Ortiz(Arkansas), all traveled from out of state to attend. A good # of our members were there and even signed a couple of new guys up!
Had some of the best BBQ that I've had catered by the Smokin Beavers. That BBQ team can cook, they travel around the nation and compete!
I would like to thank Bob Anderson for setting this meeting up and congratulate him on his new term as club president. No doubt that he will take the ball and run well.
Sal and Nick took pics, maybe they can post some soon!

Your way to kind Thom! I got up early this morning to lift, checked in at 255 lbs even. I'm only 5'10 1/2" tall, I'm officially "the fat guy"! LOL
I'm the band director for the OPRA again this year and I will be sending off for club bands on the 15th of Sept.. Club members, please get your orders and money in!

I also had A great time there at the meeting. After the meeting I felt special and that I meet some new friends. Once again Thank you Val every body Val's A geat guy!!! Every body that wants to come to my loft for the fall fly this year are all invited I will have food and beer.
