Hey Tony Chavarria
I have a friend that is trying to join this forum but is having problems. He says he is brought to a page that is asking for a $15 charge.
Is this something new? I remember joining for free.
Thanks

actually wannaroll, it looks like theirs a $15 annual fee until you hit 500 posts. expect a lot of dumb questions and responses from new members to reach that 500...this will be interesting. ---------- Gary

Hey there, since this topic came up, now is a good time to address a couple things.
For starters, if you can already post, you are "grandfathered" in. In other words, it's free and will continue to be only for those already a member.
Now for those who are non-members that want to read the site and do research, that is free. However, to actually participate with you, we are asking them for a modest sign-up fee to help to cover the cost of doing business.
Unfortunately, the slow economy is effecting all of us and we have to find new and creative ways to stay in business. I am even lowering the price of Ruby Rollers to $29.95 each to help us meet that goal!
Not only that, but I am also selling advertising on this site for other people to sell their rollers and I have NEVER allowed that. LOL
Changing times call for new ideas and approaches. If you have any further questions on this matter, please send me an email. Thanks! ---------- Tony Chavarria

Tony...I deffinately think this is a "wise" busniess move and moving in a "good" direction for the forum. Change is always "good"....at the right time. I think it keeps everyone on their toes. I always wonder "why" you didn't have a "paid" membership. To me,in some cases,if I have to pay for something,I treat it with alittle more "RESPECT" and I take better care of it. Souly,my own opinion...
