Hi kopetsa

you might want to consider puting that frame on blocks or it wont last long. i see you used presure treated. but the moisture will still eat it up. and the floor will take the worste of it all. do it before you go any further, or its going to be a pain. looks like your on your way to a good start. good luck.

Hey guys there are large sidewalk block things underneath you can't see them because I plan to put wood to cover up the underneath so nothing can get in. And Alberta Canada where I live is the only Rat Free place in Canada which is great.. :) That breed is called Lucerne Gold Collar. They can feed their own young and I'm not sure if they perform, I'm guessing they don't lol. And this loft is going to bed just 12x8 with flight pens all the way around. And yes it is level now. :) Thanks guys! I think those birds are mostly for showing..

It looks like there are no supports because of the angle of the pic. if you look closely you can tell that it is raised off the ground.. :)

Stain it with some good oil based deck stain. Last longer and much easier to slather on some more stain every couple of years then painting it. Just an idea.

You do well and are respected by many of us old farts, Andrew.
