Bought some birds about a month ago and i have a couple that are puffed up and you can see the keel bone as the birds are getting skinny even though they do eat but don't fly too long.I've tried 4-1 without any good results.Does any one know what this is ,and how could it be treated?I wormed them with ivermectin soon as i got them just in case you guys think might be worms.

Did you worm them again after ten days ..and gave them probiotic... sound like they going light on you might be something more than worms..

I did,but 2 weeks later.Could it be canker in the liver?

I don't know since I have been bless with healthy birds since I can't remember .pox is the only thing that hit me and thats 2 yrs ago..give that bird some water with a clove of crush garlic in it..I hope it comes around...
-Do you have overcrowding and dirty lofts ,birds expose to these conditions usually get canker or have mices running around? .check his throat or navel,I read they get canker in the reproductive organs and rectum as well ...

Give the bird Ideal pills brings them back up from been light. I had a bird 3 weeks ago that was light. I gave him a Ideal Pill from Jedds for about 1 week and the bird seems to be okay now.

Quick never heard of health pill for pigeons made of herbs and plants now that interest me ..thanks for posting that, by the way your post are always on the money.. in other words good to have you around..thanks again...

We all learn new things every day. This pill has safe me a couple birds than before would of die. Very good pill that the guy from jedds recommended.
