1st loft ever but probably the first of many!LOL.. I seem to build a new loft or remodel my lofts every couple of years. Good job!

Jesse,

Make sure you paint before adding any birds.

The lumps they leave behind are hard to cover :))) LOL

Once the lofts are complete most people are so excited to add the birds
they wait to long to paint, fresh wood is so much easier to paint.

Paint or stain will help to protect all of the hard work you
have done. Good job & good luck

thanks jerry allen...but i'm just gonna paint the outside....i'm doing it this weekend...so i think it should be okay....

Now that's a good looken loft for your "first" one.. One question.... Do you have any ventilation cut in at the bottom back of your loft?? If not, rather then ventlation...you are causeing a "draft" and that's not what you want. Just think,from this point on your loft building skills will get even better... Keep up the good work and "ENJOY"
