Hi
I use to go on the uk version of this forum but its now closed. I was just wondering how come none of the uk roller forum members come on here anymore. I only see harrison, speedball and les recently. Have they moved onto a new forum or made a forum of there own? I would just like to know thats all.
If yes let me know?
Thanks

darkhorse09, how can I respond without creating a stink? ummm...let me think...ummm...well, I can't come up with anything but the truth and that will create a stink, so for the sake of peace and quiet lets just talk rollers and let the past stay in the past on this one. Thanks for understanding.
Anyone else who thinks they should contribute to this thread, please don't. Nothing good will come of it. Nothing here so move along... ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Moderators, feel free to jump in anytime and do what you gotta do...
Neo the 1, that is YOUR OPINION! Since we all SPEAK ENGLISH, I presume you can read it as well. But perhaps you missed the part where it was announced that the FORUM COMMITTEE VOTED to keep the UK Forum down. I did NOT have a vote. Get your facts straight before you open your mouth (or keyboard) and broadcast what a fool you are. Seems many of you blokes don't have your facts straight and spout off. ---------- FLY ON! Neo,
Many times, those that feel affected by decisions aren't privy to the information or decisions that are made, until it trickles down and affects them. I'm under the impression that this is the reason why you are acting and voicing out in the manner you are.
You need to remember that this forum is governed by a Sole Proprietor, as well as a Posting Policy. Not that I am offering an explanation or justification for any decision handed down. There were an ample amount of warning, interjections, as well as requests for frequent members of the UK Forum to step up and correct those things that were in conflict with the Posting Policy. Not to mention basic good manners.
While I appreciate you coming forward, you're choice of "words and wisdom" follows along with the same valor and commraderie that led to the demise of that particular forum. I can't say that I'm sorry for you or any others. Maybe once you guys get your act together, you can once again pluck the ripe fruit from that which is RollerPigeon.Com.
Many thanks, Colors

You guys acted like if we owe you something or it was an entitlement!!! I was surprised by the englishmen manners!! With all due respect, I was expecting a behavior better than that...you lads represent your country when joining the US guys to talk about rollers.

There were several people on the UK Forum that showed no regard for Tony's rules. It was because of these that the forum was temporarily (or permanently.?) closed. They were warned repeatedly but apparently didn't care.
So many people suffered and/or were inconvenienced by these folk.

Paul...thank you! Those are my exact sentiments. There appeared to be an evident presence of "Groupthinking" going on. That was the same reason for the Challenger exploding shortly after liftoff. When too many people get that tunnel vision that a certain direction is right, and are too concerned about their own well-being to stand up and say "Hey, maybe that's not right", then we end up with the same results time and time again. A Disaster that takes time, effort, additional involvement, and a lot of faith and forgiveness before it will be rectified or changed in any way.
I believe that is where things are at with Tony, and those feelings should be considered as well as the damages done should be applied to those that caused the disruption.
I don't think a handful of apologies, and "I promise not to do it again" should suffice. I mean, look at the amount of discussion and intervention that's happened at the result of a few. We've seen this time and time again, and my opinion is to say enough is enough. Forums are a gift, a luxury if you will. The people in this world aren't granted or owed these priveliges, they need to be earned. I believe that's where most involved in such conversations fall short. Once caught up in the action, they feel they need to hop on the most popular band wagon, and follow suit.
Short and sweet, I have to say the lockdown is most appropriate and that it should take some time to re-establish it, if that ever happens.
I appreciate your stance, Colors

Suggestion for Neo the 1.... Here in America, we have an old saying, It's better to keep your "mouth" shut and let people think your a "fool", instead of "opening" your mouth and letting people "know" that you are a "fool". Maybe you lads across the pond should do the same...LOL

Hi All, I will lock the thread and the Forum Committee can give me feedback if they would like to see any other action taken. Although, it will be copied and taken to another site as a couple appear in the habit of doing. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria
