the best cock in my team is a slow eater needs feeding separate every couple days to keep weight right. would it be a bad idea to use him in the stock loft???????

Have you checked his droppings? have wormed him? have you checked for canker in his throat or mouth.JDA

recently wormed.checked for cancker nothing visible.droppings seem normal. on rest days he gets a better share of his ration. birds fed wheat only.

If you feed all right after they land he may be too tired to eat fast. If he is you best spinner he should be the most tired bird. Feed only enough to get them in and feed the rest 5 or 10 minutes later. See if it works. Also yes he would be a good bird to stock if he is the best bird in the air.

tried resting 10mins after fly checked crop got maybe alittle more than normaly would.would this bird just produce more birds with this problem? would he be best paired on a hen thats alittle on the heavy side ie fast eater?
