I believe (at least in my own case) that as competition draws near we begin to over think a lot of loft management issues and that is why some do not have our birds on the edge when the judge is standing under our kit. We begin to change too many things and the birds respond as if in doubt and fail us. They fail us because we fail them by taking them out of thier game when we decide that even though they were doing well, we change things. ---------- Just My Take On Things

Nick, I beleive it all boils down to confidence or in my case lack of!lol Confidence will only come with some measure of sucsess. I for one "over think" my management contantly, I gnaw on it like a hungry dog on a soup bone. Usually with disasterous results. ---------- Ron Borderline lofts

Nick, I am still tweaking the birds and my fly is this Saturday. They have been going in circles for the last month that I can not shake them out of it. I tried to find out which bird or birds are the problem to no avail. Also, I have little success of slowing them down and for the life of me I can not find Barley anywhere. Finally I came to the conclusion that it is the feed when you have all the kits are flying the same pattern. Now I see a little success but it is going to hurt me this Saturday big time. It is what it is…
