fontanabound.... if "you" don't know anything about this bird. "Why" would you waste your time breeding her. I would try to settle her first, then see what she does in the air. If she produces something in the "air" then I "might" take a chance on breeding her. Many would just consider her a "junk" bird, especially with "no" band for referencing her backround. The "funny" thing is Blue Bars have been my life long favorites....LOL

Good point tracey. She is one pritty little girl but not worth messing around wth if you no nothing about it. Try to fly her out before you bread her. She doesnt look like a scruffy cross bread or anything like that and if its no ring my moneys on it been a missing bird sold to the pet shop. I recent got a pair of blue bars come in my yard and they had rings on. N.P.A rings. I contacted the ring secretary and he gave me the breeders number. I tried to ring on several times but got no answer i have them away from my loft in a little kit so will break them off and we will see. good look with her. harrison H.K.R ROLER LOFT HULL UK

I wouldn't waste my time with that bird.Try flying it and see what happens. How many pairs of birds do you have? You could try out a coulple of young birds out of her and if they don't work use her as a foster.

i wouldn't waste my time with her either. maybe fly it, but not breed from it. i wouldn'tstock a bird if i dont know what she does in the air. you are just guessing that she MIGHT be good. also, i know of peopels and myself who has beautiful looking birds that look like they will roll their butts off when they fly but they were just stiffs or culls and some ugly or big bodied birds who looks like shit but will roll their buts off!! im not saying that all good looking birds aren't good but im trying to say that birds aren't good just because of their looks or colors or whatever and birds dont suk just cus they dont look good. just my opinion, good luck!!

Fontanabound,
Depending on what you want to do, you can breed the bird. It may not be a roller. It may just tumble. To me it would be a cool little project though. If your not into competition and like breeding pigeons in general, why not. Just keep them happy and healthy. The pic size is great. Unless your breeding champion birds for some one else and want to introduce this bird to the stock, then it may not be a good idea.
