does anybody fly their breeders out again after they get replaced by other birds? are your breeders mostly young or old birds??

I don't fly breeders, I breed them. If I am gonna have a bird put away for breeding, it is for a reason (it has qualities that I want my family to resemble). If it gets a chance to fly, a BOP may take it and bye bye master plan (for that strain member anyway and it's back to the drawing board). Just my thoughts. ---------- DJJeffman Spinners

It depends on age and production ....If I have a KIT BIRD that is better than the breeder that I am replacing it with. It must produce better birds also , so I will wait till I test its young before I will fly that breeder bird.

yea that is what i mean, if there is a bird that can repleace it and of course have better qualities n so on would you fly that breeder. j/w
