Hey Carl it was great meeting you today. Even though I did not fly I had a really good time hanging out with you, Mike, and Steve.

I Also want to thank you for coming out here to judge the fly. I appreciate the time you took to teach me about competition flying and answering my questions.

I hope to kick it with you again sometimes soon in the near future buddy.

No problem, you ask the right questions and respect the fliers. Even though they are (bombed). The clams were excellant and companionship great. If you need something or want to ask questions.cwbraker@yahoo.com

bombed? isn't he that way all the time? btw, those clams WERE really good. imagine if the clam guy never showed up, we'd be reading in the newspaper about a certain someone killing a certain someone for not having anything for us to eat!!

yo turkey buzzard, he's got his faults, but boy, is he into the sport! and he's probably the only guy who's keeping it alive on LI! i'm the newbie, and if i don't fly, there's only 3 fliers? i hope i can get some of the other fence sitters to get off their butts and get into it. its funny though, Al and Lou were right there to watch, and meet up, so i know they're at least interested. it would be so much better if they'd support a local club, and not just with 'yea, i'd be interested.'(c'mon, i'm the newguy, this should have been in place already) i mean, these people need to think of the hobby itself, and how easy it can go downhill without participation.
it was great meeting you, and i was impressed with your fairness and ability. also, your insight into what the birds were doing or not doing made it very educational.

Sal how did you know those peppers are the bomb!!! your wife when she grills them on the pit are so good!!!! You guys in New York need to get a club and Steve if you lead I will show you how to succeed with it. It starts with inviting all the roller fliers have an exibition kit fantastic feed, covered dish affair and then have bird donations, feed, loft supplies and something special for the women and kids. The first couple of years "NO ALCOHOL" people have a tendancy to argue and fight then you can see what group you have and determine if alcohol can be added at a latter date. When the guys from the all breed and Homer group see how organized and what fun you guys are having they will join the club!!! Keep the clams and lobsters coming and I'll be back to steal the food off your truck. P.S. Steve go Dallas Cowboys beat New York Giants
Frank Gabriel won the fly!!!!

Jerry I did not fly because I was no where near ready!! My breeding season was a disaster to begin with and the birds I bred from were not very good. I also did not have enough birds for the fly.

This year I am comutting to college and not dorming like last semester. I will be able to take care of my birds and breeders instead of having to rely on my mom lol. I also hope to get better birds to breed from then I possibly might compete next year.
