Jerry,
I've flown Jacs in the past and they are no different than any other family. Some familys are easy to handle and others can be a chore. It is all going to depend on the person that bred them and your style of management. My suggestion would be to get ahold of the guy that bred them and get as much info as possible on his management style. Good Luck!

I received 14 Jac's from Dan Galarza and they are easy to manage and very tame birds..for birds that are new and don't know me when handle they stay calm..like Katyroller said "It is all going to depend on the person that bred them and your style of management.so true are those words..

Ralph, have you been flying the birds from Dan. Just curious on how they perform for you. I picked up 3 pairs of jacs for breeding in the 2010 season. Hope to get some nice youngsters out of them.
Where did Dan get his Jacs from do you know?

Ralph, thanks for the information on the Jacs. I am possibly going to get 3 more pair of Jacs to breed from in 2010, they are from Dan, thru another party.
Again thanks. Let me know how they turn out for you as the year goes on if you dont get any b.o.p. attacks.

Russ I fly birds from Dave H. but I only have 6 ,,bop hit me bad...I have also birds from Dave Sazb..and the birds from Dan G.are in that kit also..I don't mix them as in cross breeding but fly them together they go hand in hand. then I have another kit which I got from Efren L..you can see those in a short video I made call voice command..that kit I fly separate because they are all youngster ..since I can't go to see birds out there I had them sent to me from different breeders to see which one I will concentrate on..but that will be in a couple of years..right now I'm having fun with what I have ..you know enjoying myself since I'm retire ...peace..
