Its a respiratory infection. Isolate the bird. Get antibiotics to clear the matter.

Rodney,
Just a FYI
Look into the following to treat.
1) Infectious Catarrh
2) Ornithosis
3) Trichomaniasis (Canker)
These each have signs and symptoms of sneezing.
Wish you well with your problem.
Regards, Bill

I have noticed that when a bird gets a cold, or starts sneezing,it usually is from a crowded loft ,with too much dust. I sugest go and get a bottle of VET-RX put a few drops in his mouth and on his nose ,do it for 2 days and it will clear up,this stuff works great, nothing better out there. Good luck.Hector Coya-SGVS

I had one doing the same thing a funny sound they make let me tell you my kitbox are super clean and they are not crowded a 16 bird kit I took out 4 so there is 20 perches enough room for them..so the things Hector pointed out is true. stress is one of the reason and you get stress in overcrowding and dust.. with my situation is that the bird is starting to roll and maybe can't handle it or he has allergies who knows..I atleast I think ..so this is what I did took him out put him alone in a kitbox I have and just gave him Garlic then AVC and now he is not coughing anymore..lucky me.. .... ---------- Ralph. Another cure for upper respiratory is Quell.Sometimes its better to treat respiratory with liquid cures rather than what I suggested above. The stringy mucus in the throat is a sure sign of it, along with heavy breathing, wet droppings,etc.....Aloha,Todd
