Ralph, Very nice setup, clean and neat. Exactly what I expected. Did you stray in a Red Bar? I lost one. :)
I also like the mess shields and will be adding some to my setup.

Take care

Great looking set-up Ralph

Hey Thom... I also wonder if they are mess shields or are they their for privacy??
What ever the case.... I use the exact same thing with my individual pens too..

Thom... Thank twice on the mess shields, I started the season using them and pulled them out after one fell over and trapped and killed three day old youngsters in one of my nests. I have thought I might drill holes and wire them up so birds don,t knock them over on there young. JDA

Paul... I will look at it today. I hate to throw them away. Will see if I can loosen the angel iron and slide them behind it, or drill and wire them. Thanks JDA

Why not a three facet shield with two sides and a bottom for the nest bowl to sit on?

Hi Thom, that is your red bar, didn't you know it flew all the way down here :).

My shield's are actually "plastic school folders" with two clips on the inside. I have clipped these on the wire, so there is no way in which the sheild will collaspe on the birds.
Thom in regards to a three facet shield I have tried it and had lots of mess so I got rid of it leaving just the wire for the poops to fall through.
In regards to putting up shields I find that it gives them just that little bit of extra privacy that they need. LOL

tou vang, got them from ebay. The size is 3.5ft long x 2.5ft deep, by 2.5ft high.
They come with pull out trays, pull out wire floors. They were made for breeding parrots but they suit pigeons as it has lots of room for them to expand their wings.
Comes as a stack of 3 individual cages and the cost of each stack was $330 (Australian $)
