I have just gotten a good pair of roller and i am planning to breed them this upcoming year. i am only breeding from this pair. i was wondering if any of you roller flyers have a outline for "how to build a kit box" for at least 15 birds. I am moving also so this is my new start. thanks

Nice pen You would be ahead if you would put a pitch on the roof and at least a 6 inch overhang on all sides for more landing room and keeps rain from coming straight down the side walls.Use roofing paper and paint inside an out and that will be a very nice pen. JDA

excellent advice given, and also don't make your kitbox deeper than you can reach in comfortably. usually 30" is enough. also, you might want to have a small door to put your water fount or feed the birds if a dayscreen is in use, and blocking you from opening the pen door. ---------- Steve in Blue Point, NY

Quick, I like that 1/2 X 1 inch wire on the bottom, that is what I use, it keeps it so much cleaner inside the box! nice work---------- Pat

nIce kitbox I have the 1/2 X 1" but I think I will go for the 1X1 and put a drawer so nothing gets in from under.with the way I have it I have to scrape more like banging on the wire so the poopoo gets through..too much noise in the AM for me... ---------- Ralph.
