This is my loft before i decided to change things around.

This is my loft during chaning and deciding what i wanted.

And this is my loft as the finished product.

I was flying my birds out of a portable kit in the garden.

Now i have built 2 small kits inside one half of my loft and it far much better.

Hop you like the pictures of the loft and kits. IS IT AN IMPROVMENT? Thank yoHarrison CRAVEN PARK ROLLER LOFTS HULL UK

Hi CHAMP. Thank you for your feed back. I would like to point out on a few things you said. 1st, I agree with the perch thing as it does look like the birds are crampt together (but i was told by some guy that if the birds sit upon the wire it keeps them clean and also makes them want to fly that bit more as when out the kit that is the only flying they will get? But I am taking your advice and will be putting some perches up this week to see how it goes. 2nd, The issue with the wire and space below, Of course the reason for the wire is to keep the birds from coming into contact with any crap as it simply falls below the wire? You of course need to make the space below the wire deep anougth so if the birds legs fall througth the wire they carnt reach the crap? That is all good in my kits. My birds have cleaner feet then I do.LOL. And also so no eggs can be sat upon in the kit? the holes in my wire are nice and big so the eggs would fall below into the bottom. Appart from the above reasons there isnt anything els(THAT I NO OF) that would make me need to make the space below the wire any deeper. But please if I have missed anything then I would be gratfull if you could tell me? The kits in genaral are an ideal size for my birds and for the limeted space I have to use bearing in mind that this is the only loft I have for flying and breeding. I have my A TEAM kit in the top, My stock cocks in the bottom, And in the main section of the loft have my stock hens with some B TEAM birds. Like i have said I only put my pictures up for people to comment on and may that be positive or negative I learn from it. And your comments have been used in a posative way. Thank you. I have a sencor alarm on my loft that can only be activated by human movement. Well my friend come in the yard early on and the alarm was activated. Can the sound of the loud siren spook, scare thebirds? they seem cool to it in the past. but tonight one cock just doesnt want to feed and all I can think is with all the fire works it been november the 5/6th guy thalks. so all the rocket bangs and the alarm he may be stressd out a little? he his now in a quarentine box just incase but he his well by way of waight, strenth and alert. thanks harry.

I "like" your setup both old and new. I like to see and compare how guys in other country house their birds. I really enjoy the varity of styles. They always look so simple but, well designed.. Thanks for the photos.
