Clayton,
It's true that 5 were RPDC banded and the others had some mixed blood.

Last year,Rodman had a major overfly,he sought out pure Henderson line which I had, and rejected any bird that had his old bloodline[which I also have].

Supplied to him were 20 Top quality Hendersons as well as pure Henderson breeders.I had 85 birds to choose from,Rodman got "some" of the best. The reason for getting the best from what I was offering was to show RETARDS like you that the Hendersons have the goods.Ask him, I dare you, he will point at you and laugh his head off.
You have always openly talked shit about the Henderson line which Rodman, myself,Rob,and Lito have perpetuated.Well in YOUR FACE CHUMP!!!!

You have alot of nerve jumping on this thread to try to throw your BULLSHIT into this, which you don't know "JACK SHIT"about.Get a LIFE!!

Hey Todd, don't know exactly whats going on, but sounds like someone is trying to get a dog pile going on you? I been through that myself. It can take the patina off the joy in the hobby. But I am wiser for the wear. Congratulations on breeding good birds and sharing them with the eventual National Fly winner!

Forgive me Clayton, you didn't deserve that.Next time I will pray and lay it at the cross.I will also pray for you.I don't fly because I am swamped at work.I still enjoy the hobby and make sure key flyers get good stock.....Todd

That's great to hear about Rodman. We go way back and when I talked to him last he wanted more birds from me but I was not breeding at the time and had no plans to breed in the near future.

Its now about 2 years later and I am still not breeding but have plans to get going in 2010 again.

How are the birds for you Tod? it's nice you let Rodman have a choice there of birds. I sent you some great birds. You were the last one to get birds from me over there.

Again great showing by Rod and seems like some stress going on over there with you and Clayton. I don't understand this fully but seems something is goign on. I understand working too much to do the birds justice, been there done that.

I can't wait to get going again. Life is very busy for me, HS sports with my oldest and football season just about to end. He also does basketball and track so I am busy most of the year.

I am the HS photographer also which keeps me plenty busy in the sports world here.

My son has 2 more years of HS after this so it will be hectic until he is done that is for sure.

I have kept up with my birds and all is going well at this point and once I get going it will be great.

Tell Rod I said great job.

This was a well selected and managed team of birds of which was obvious out the gate , this was his doing and his win, the bulk of the team was out of "his" family that he has been working for 15 years.

Scott,

Rodman is pound for pound the best flyer in this state.I have said it several times,he can make barn pigeons roll.

The underlying insinuation for those that LOOK for it is,I am trying to take the credit away from Rod.That is nonsense.

Rodman has never been in my backyard once.He came to me through a recommendation of another flyer that scored over 300 points and credited 5 RPDC Hendersons bred by me for pulling the team together.

Rod and I had a long conversation on what he was looking for, and what he wanted to achieve.

Rod was already on his way to winning as he has done numerous times. He was looking for that boost of new blood that would ensure it.He told me he would be doing it to give the credit to the Henderson line.

The Henderson line is known for their teamwork and obedience by everyone that flys them.It just takes the right manager in which Rod is a master..Just an FYI.....Aloha,Todd

Todd, only inexperiance and lack of one's own work would make such a comical statement,in the past those birds or you have never made a notable mark in the sport let alone a home run, what Rodman did doesn't happen by accident.
And yet here you are not only trying to horn in on someone elses hard work and dedication, but you actualy trying to give others the credit also.
I suggest that you put in your own work and build your reputation off of your own deeds and not off of someone elses, sad but certainly not the first time I've seen this from those that can't stand on their own merit.

Scott,
I can attest to what Tod was saying about adding back in some of the straight blood I sent over their as he asked me the same thing last we talked.

He knew that Tod was the last one I had sent birds to over there and that was his only option. At the time Joe Urbon was also out of rollers even though Joe only had a few that were the main stay of my birds, as Joe has his own cousin line to mine but had a few right off some of the stuff that Rodman was looking for.

Rodman wanted specific birds from me but I had non to let go of.

Rod with loosing most of the originals I sent him over a period of time to a mongoose I think? had only kit birds and many he had crossed to experiment with and with overflies and other losses he didn't have the options he was looking for.

He had lost the tight kitting he wanted back simple as that in his own opinion.

Yes Rodman did all the hard work himself and he has always been a great competitor.

It took several years for Rodman to see what top quality was as he had never seen a tight fast spinner before I sent birds to him in 1995.

Over the years Rod and I had built a great friendship and a working relationship also, sharing tips and ideals between us. We used to talk a lot before he lost his house and had to move.

I fear that with the onslaught of the falcons I hear are over there now things will get uglier and uglier over the years there, with the climate and air stream there could be tons of overflies int their future.

I just don't understand how there are NO predators then all of a sudden they have them. Someone had to have brought them there or had eggs sent there and hatched?

Again great job Rod and also a big thanks to Scott for making the journey.

Scott,

The only thing that is comical and very sad at the same time is the joy you find in critizing.

I also don't see were it was mentioned the win was accidental, seems alot of thought went into it.Actually,it was very predictable it would have been Rod or Rick if he was still here.

The birds you sent here made no notable impact out here, except for fosters.

Hey Scott, you stepped in it,now scrape it off your slippers and move forward or it will smell more than it should and squish in between your toes.....

Congratulations Rodman. I wish I would have got to meet you and see your birds while I was over settling my son in to College. Too bad a congratulations thread for your fine accomplishment has gone off track with personal agendas and arguments. Enjoy your next fly! Don M. Mac's Roller LVRC
