i was wondering if any one hear lives or knows some one that lives in Oroville that have Rollers? just wanna get to know people around my area and c how they train and fly their rollers now that i have no job.

Hi Shoua, There is a guy who you can call. His name is Lou Pon and he has rollers and lives in your area. He has a classified add locally so I will give you his number. That way he can invite you over as I should not give out anyones address unless they say its good.
I am glad you wrote on your profile, otherwise I would not have responded. I have talked to Lou a few times and He might live really close to you since he is also in that area. They have an ALL breed club in that area and local cities near Oroville participate with many kinds of pigeons but Lou is into rollers. You are right Joe. I should have had him email me privately. But Many of us are listed in the NBRC directory and I could have told him to check their also. He is advertising in Oroville with rollers and when you put out an add, you are welcoming anyone to call you I would say. WHy would you put an add out if you only wanted people you know to call you?
I get calls all the time from the directory in the NBRC. I've made some friends who were total strangers that way. A phone call doesn't mean you have to invite them over. Its the best way to get to know someone. Anyway your point is well taken and I will use more wisdom next time. Bill C

There are several fliers in Oroville. All that I know live close. As for Lue Pon he doesnt live in Oroville however. He lives in Sutter unless he moved recently. Joe

Bill...some forget that phone numbers are listed in the phone book..and the NBRC bulletin and directory....and with the internet..its not hard to find a phone number if the name is listed anywhere....

Once a number; an address; an email address is posted on a public list you are not in violation of anything when passing it on. My name, address; phone number; and email is posted in NBRC literature so it is fair game for anyone to pass it on to anyone for any reason.....no biggie.

If I post my phone number and name in a classified ad and you pass that info on to someone else I don't see the issue. If I didn't post my address and you decide to give it out too and don't check with me first, I might not appreciate it. I don't think in this case any foul was committed.

well i dnt really know that much people that fly's in oroville... the only people i know that fly's n my area is my cousin and one of my buddy that's it.
I have a buddy that use to live in Marysville his name is Ger Xiong. He told me he got most his birds from u Joe and they where all very nice and fast birds.Do u know a guy by that name Joe? thank you Joe i will give u a call.

I'm also from Marysville..however I'm currently living and attending school in Sacramento...Ger is a good buddy and he use to have good birds from Joe Urbon. But Ger got out roller for a few years now.

Fuji actually Ger was at my house about a month ago picking up some birds. I didnt have any for him but a buddy of mine that I gave a few pair to had some young late hatches that he said Ger could have. Joe

My bad Joe. I haven't seen or talk to Ger lately. Probably a year now. I'm surprise he's back into rollers. The last time I check we were all out for quite some time. Well thanks for the heads up. I'll probably have to talk to him and see how things are going?

Ya Fuji he sounded pretty excited to get birds again. He asked me for some birds but I didnt have anything to let go. I told him that I would try to get him a couple birds next year. Joe

530flyer as of right now i am not flying any birds. i just recently bout a pair of roller from Bill Roy and got my hands on a couple of Ruby's from Tony. I'm not planing on flying these birds just ganna breed them for now.Shoua Vang

I'm glad to hear that. So how you been Joe? I heard Dave and you guys were out for a bit. I've talked to Dave Henderson on the other website a few times. I saw you at the NBRC convention and tour here in Sacramento but didn't get the chance to talk to you. Hope things are working out fine with you and your bird. Well appreciate the head ups.

I have my birds back and looking forward to getting some kits in the air this spring. This lockdown just kills me every year but is the only way to preserve the bird and not feed them to the preditors. Dave is talking about starting a new loft in the next year. I hope he does. I miss seeing birds in the air at his place. Joe
