Hey George, You're Welcome!

I know that many new "outlets" are opening for pigeon bands and while I guess they can be found cheaper here and there, your purchase helps support the site and its workings.

So to all, for those looking for a way to support this site, just buy a few packs from time to time and support the site that supports the hobby (the good the bad and the ugly LOL).

Talk about hard to read.
I will not buy this type agian.

Tony said we may find them cheaper.
I would rather pay a little more to
have bands that I can read.

The color & stamping does not work together.

My next order will be from Tony.

The bands are 99% aluminum, it is my understanding that regular "metal" bands can cause problems to the leg tissue over time. I don't know if that is actually true or not. Maybe someone has more information on this?

Scott, I used to like the rolled style too until I seen numbers wear out and make holes after a few years.

With glasses on I can't read them.
I have to step outside, in the sunshine
twist and turn them just right, before
I can even make out the numbers.

This batch is entirely too hard to read.

Mike... I have no problem with the English type when the color is right and they are numbers are stamped deep enough.

Are the bands you have for sale Tony the english style bands?
I like the plastic coated bands due to the ease of reading them, but they look bulky on the rollers.

What I like most about Tonys bands is the size, Many places sell one size fits many breeds and sometimes they look big on a roller.

Tony, I got the bands today and they look great....love the red color.... Big Thanks to you and Joni for the fast service!!! These are the bands and the band holders that I use. They are coffee cleaner brushes. The bands will never come off until you slide them off. I got this idea from Henry Cook when I visited him.Photobucket----------

Tony's bands look like the ones we use in England, but some are pressing for the plastic see-through ones. reading the posts I think we must be a little stricter on band sizes than you guys.
Roller size bands from a pigeon club or the NPA must be worn by birds before thry can be shown or flown in competition, (I think that applies to most flying clubs). In the AERC flys, any AERC bands must be registered to the flyer.
No oversize bands which would allow them to be slipped off are allowed.
Pete.
