Does anybody know of someone breeding the auto-sexing Texan Pioneers? I'm looking for some good prolific producers of big, healthy squabs.

Thanks!

Hey George, they will be used to fill my freezer with meat. 24-30 oz squabs at 30 days old. No preservatives or steroids injected into them either. Just good quality squabs for the fryer. Yum Yum.

PS: The Post Office jacked up the shipping rates for Christmas. I'll send you the books we discussed after Christmas.

Russ I had some texas pioneers when I was a kid and they were mean as hell. The only birds I could keep with them were modenas. They are definately a great choice for a utility pigeon though. Good luck with them.Joe

Hi Joe, I had some kings and modenas as a kid and they were pretty mean too. Some of the kings would go toe to toe with one of my young roosters....lol
I bet you still remember what their wing slap feels like!!
I plan on keeping them in a separate loft.....if I can find any for sale????
