What is a good size for nest box?? I was thinking 12" X 15" X 12" Deep. Is that large enough for rollers?

The box should be large enough for two nest sites one high and one low 16" x 24" 16" deep would probably do it. John

No, I don't mean breeding boxes, I mean a nest box in a large coop.

Thank you Paul, I will buy some of those bowels. I am building a new coop and I want to build boxes all along the back wall to put the bowels in.

Those bowls are perfect. Been using them for a long time. Drill a few holes in the bottom and use a couple or three round coffee filters,also available at the dollar store, in the bottom for a liner. Put a handful of pine needles in and your ready. Another indicator is when the chicks can get out of it, its time to go to the floor.
