Just get a few good pairs from a friend or a local club and breed some youngs out. Training will be the same as rollers. What exactly do you need help with??

Fontanabound, join your American Homing Union, join local club. Get a hold of last 10 years race records(year books), and look for the small garden fancier who is in the top results consistantly. If you can get a couple of cocks and 6 hens put them on the bull system.I like the small set-ups cause they usually don,t keep any crap birds. Don,t push your young birds too hard,100-150 miles first year good enough. Remember their young athletes and need time to mature and develope. If you need any more help send your e-mail. Good Luck. Glen.

fontanabound if you getting adult homers I suggest you breed them cause if you let them out in 2 weeks or a month they going back home where they came from or even 2 years.you might get lucky as I did ,once I pluck all their feathers twice.this is one stray I caught when I was flying tipplers.. ---------- Ralph.
